In order to promote the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Brazil and strengthen cooperation in a wide range of fields, the two sides established the China Brazil High Level Coordination and Cooperation Committee (hereinafter referred to as the China Brazil High Committee) in 2006 and held its first meeting, with the leaders of both countries serving as co chairs.

According to the consensus reached at the first meeting of the China Pakistan High Committee, both sides have established the Information Industry Sub Committee of the China Pakistan High Committee. In July 2008, the Information Industry Sub committee held its first meeting in Beijing, during which both parties agreed to include industrial cooperation in the scope of sub committee cooperation and renamed the sub committee as "Industrial and Information Industry Sub committee". As of 2021, the sub committee has held 6 meetings, and the two sides have mainly engaged in exchanges and discussions on topics such as industrial development planning, new energy vehicles, Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, 5G, digital economy, digital technology to combat the epidemic, radio spectrum management, artificial intelligence, and network security.
