Notice on Calling for Cases of Sino-Brazilian Cooperation in Energy and Electronics Industry

All relevant units:

Driven by the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", solar photovoltaic, new-type energy storage and other energy electronics industries have ushered in a new round of development opportunities. In order to implement the memorandum of cooperation in the field of smart photovoltaic signed by China and Brazil, create a number of advanced models of Sino-Brazilian energy and electronics industry cooperation, and pragmatically promote the cooperation between China and Brazil, we hereby notify the following cases of energy and electronics industry cooperation:

1. Content of Cooperation

This activity centers on China and Brazil solar photovoltaic, new energy storage and other priority areas for the development of energy and electronics industry, and tours selected representative, innovative, disruptive cases of cooperation between China and Brazil, to guide the development of the industry greening, digitization and intelligence, to promote mutual learning between China and Brazil, to promote Sino-Brazilian energy and electronics industry cooperation to the depth of the development of the cooperation for the cooperation of the BRICS countries to provide a referential, replicable and scalable model of innovation.

• Industrial cooperation cases. Includebut not limited to the energy electronics industry advanced applicable products, technologies, standards, services, platforms, system solutions and other cooperation cases.
• Education and training cases. Include but not limited tothe energy and electronics industry green, digital, intelligent field of senior personnel training, vocational training, “dual system”, vocational education, research institutes and other aspects of cooperation.
• Examples of financial cooperation. Includebut not limited to the energy and electronics industry in exploring overseas markets, investment and construction of factories, business loans and other aspects of the financial services involved in the case of cooperation.

1. Declaration conditions and procedures

(I) The main body of the case declaration must be legally registered in the host country, including photovoltaic, energy storage and other energy electronics enterprises, research institutes, industry organizations or consortiums, etc., and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to recommend cases of cooperation.

(II) The evaluation of the cases will be conducted by experts from both sides.

(III) The cases can be promoted in the series of activities of BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership, Green BRICS Public Services and other bilateral and multilateral industrial cooperation platforms to expand the influence of the cases.

III. Selection Criteria

(I) Reflect the pragmatic cooperation between Chinese and Brazilian enterprises.

(II) Be innovative or disruptive;

(III) Have exemplary leading role; and

(IV) Be available for display, publicity and promotion;

(V) In line with the strategic objectives of the BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership and create value for all parties involved;

(VI) Be consistent with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Please send the case recommendation form(in duplicate) and emails to Center for International Economic and Technological Cooperation Ministry of Industry and Information Technology by August 31, 2023 (Thursday).
