In order to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan for Industrial Green Development" and "Action Plan for Industrial Water Efficiency Improvement", the government needs to strengthen the promotion and application of advanced and applicable industrial water-saving processes, technologies and equipment, guide the competent departments of industry and information technology in various regions, relevant associations and central enterprises to standardize the recommendation work, and help the units to be declared to have an in-depth understanding of the declaration requirements and processes. On June 14^th , the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization organized and convened the 2023 National Industrial Water Saving, Technologies and Equipment Collection Online Explanatory Meeting. More than 2,100 people attended the meeting online, including competent departments of industry and information technology in various regions, suppliers of water-saving, technologies and equipment, application units, as well as representatives of industry associations, scientific research institutes and third-party service organizations.

The meeting systematically explained the declaration process and declaration requirements for industrial water-saving , technologies and equipment in 2023, detailed the requirements for the review of the catalog of industrial water-saving, technologies and equipment encouraged by the state in 2021, and demonstrated the operation process of the online declaration system, and carried out online Q&A exchanges. As the next step, the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization will carry out technology review, public announcement and catalog release, increase the promotion of advanced and applicable industrial water-saving, technologies and equipment, compile typical cases, carry out supply and demand docking, promote the application of technology, help industrial water usage efficiency continue to improve, and promote green and low-carbon development of industry.
