According to the concept of the whole life cycle for green product eco-design, in the product design and development stage, considerations should be made to the impact on resources and environment caused by the selection of raw materials, production, sales, use, recycling, disposal and other aspects, which helps to realize the product minimize the consumption of energy and resources, minimize ecological and environmental impacts, and maximize the renewable rate.

In order to help enterprises in BRICS countries to carry out eco-design of industrial products and promote green and low-carbon transformation of industry, CIETC, together with Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), will co-organize a training and exchange session on Green Innovation for Sustainable Development of BRICS and Green Eco-design Practices in December 2022 to discuss the path of green and sustainable development in BRICS countries.
