The reporter learned from the Information Conference on the Economic Operation Situation of Machinery Industry held on February 15 that the high-end, intelligent, green and low-carbon development of China’s machinery industry is speeded up.

“Risk challenges have been effectively addressed, the structural adjustment and transformation and upgrading of the machinery industry have been further promoted, and the development resilience of the industry has been further enhanced.” Luo Junjie, Executive Vice President of China Machinery Industry Federation, told the reporter that although the economic operation of the machinery industry experienced ups and downs in 2022, the overall operation situation was improving, the industrial scale continued to expand, and the growth rate of added value was higher than that of the national industry. Technological progress and product structure upgrading effectively promoted the growth of industry benefits, and scientific and technological innovation achievements emerged.

In 2022, the domestic equipment car power assembly production line developed by Shanghai SmartState Technology Co., Ltd., Sichuan Pushi Ningjiang Machine Tool Works Co., Ltd., Huazhong CNC and other organizations was put into use in SAIC-GM, which indicates that the high-end processing center composed of domestic functional components can fully meet the processing needs of high-end automobile power assembly. Harbin Electric Corporation successfully manufactured the first domestic real turbine runner of axial flow turbine of additional materials, which is of great significance to promote the application of intelligent manufacturing technology in the field of power generation equipment manufacturing. The first set of “one-key coking” intelligent complete equipment designed and developed by Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was put into operation, filling the technical gap in the domestic coking industry.

Guided by the “dual carbon” goals, the machinery industry fully promotes the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. In 2022, the output of wind turbines accounted for more than 50% of the total output of power generation equipment in the whole year. Green and low-carbon equipment is constantly emerging, which effectively promotes the development of carbon reduction in traditional industries. The successful test of TBEA’s new generation million-volt transformer plays an important role in improving the consumption of clean energy in China and ensuring the stable operation of the power grid. China’s first underwater Christmas tree, led by CNOOC, successfully completed the blowout test of subsea gas wells in Yinggehai of the South China Sea and was officially put into use, which indicates that China has the ability to design, build and apply complete sets of equipment for deepwater underwater Christmas trees, and provides important equipment guarantee for improving domestic energy self-sufficiency.
