On July 25, 2023, the 2023 International Carbon Emission Reduction Forum of Building Materials Industry and Symposium of Technologies and Products Encouraged to Promote and Apply sponsored by China Building Materials Federation was held in Beijing. Staff of embassies of the United States, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Japan and other countries, and representatives of domestic and foreign industry associations, universities and enterprises attended the Meeting. The Raw Materials Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was invited to the Meeting.

The Meeting shared the relevant achievements and experiences of carbon emission reduction in building materials industry in relevant countries, issued the Blue Book of International Cooperation in Building Materials Industry in China, and introduced the Catalogue of Technologies and Products Encouraged to Promote and Apply in Building Materials Industry (2023 Edition) (the Catalogue). More than 20 experts and scholars at home and abroad made keynote reports on the products, processes and equipment related to the Catalogue.

The Meeting aimed to build an international exchange platform for the building materials industry, give full play to the superior resources of all parties, actively share new technologies, new products and new processes, deepen upstream and downstream cooperation in the industrial chain, and promote the high-end, intelligent, green and coupled development of the building materials industry.
