General conditions

Enterprises in any of the following circumstances in the past three years are not allowed to apply to be included into the list of green manufacturing: enterprises that have not been operating normally; enterprises with accidents in fields such as security (including network security and data security), quality and environmental pollution, and illegal acts such as tax evasion (subject to “Credit China” and “National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System”); enterprises that have been dynamically adjusted out of the list of green manufacturing; enterprises that have been found to have serious problems in the relevant inspection work of the State Council and relevant departments; enterprises that have been included in the list of industrial energy conservation supervision and rectification and failed to complete the rectification as required; person with poor credit and subjected to execution, etc.

The green industrial park is a provincial-level and above industrial park with product manufacturing and energy supply as its main functions, industrial added value accounting for more than 50%, legal boundaries and scope, and unified management institutions.

1. National and local laws, regulations, policies and standards related to green, recycling and low carbon shall be effectively implemented.

2. In the past three years, no major pollution accidents or major ecological damage incidents have occurred, the energy conservation and emission reduction targets issued by the state or local governments have been completed, and the carbon emission intensity has continued to decline.

3. The environmental quality meets the national or local environmental quality standards for environmental functional zones, the pollutants discharged by enterprises in the park meet the standards, and the total discharge of all kinds of key pollutants does not exceed the national or local total control requirements.

4.100% of the key enterprises in the park implement clean production review.

5.Enterprises in the park shall not use backward production technologies, processes and equipment listed in the national elimination catalogue, and shall not produce products listed in the national elimination catalogue.

6.The park shall establish a specialized institution to perform duties of green development, with more than 2 full-time staff.

7.The park shall be encouraged to establish and operate an environmental management system and an energy management system, and establish an energy monitoring and management platform for the park.

8.The park shall be encouraged to build and operate application facilities of renewable energies such as wind energy and solar energy.

1. The battery section has complete testing capabilities for automotive power batteries and energy storage batteries. The testing objects cover individual battery cells, modules, and system level testing. The testing projects basically cover performance testing, safety performance testing, environmental performance testing, and electrical performance testing, meeting the requirements of previous regulatory inspections and enterprise DV/PV testing.
2. In terms of standard revision, due to our testing capabilities covering different levels of batteries and battery systems, electric drives and high-voltage accessories, charging interfaces and various vehicle terminals, BMS and interoperability communication protocols, we have basically completed the full coverage of common national standards and national promotion standards for such products, and have obtained corresponding authorization in international standards such as IEC/ECE/UN. At the same time, battery products have also obtained relevant qualifications from classification societies.
3. Characteristic evaluation ability
Bottom collision test: A distinctive evaluation capability developed in 2021, which took over a year to complete bottom collision tests on more than 20 vehicles and 10 battery packs, effectively evaluating the impact of new energy vehicles on battery packs under bumping and scraping conditions.
Ball Impact Test: The bottom ball impact is different from the bottom collision. The bottom collision is a dynamic impact, and the bottom ball impact is a reproduction of the quasi-static anti-collision scene at the bottom of the battery to evaluate the quasi-static anti-collision performance of the battery bottom. In this evaluation research, the first bottom ball impact test bench in China was developed, and currently, the equipment on the market basically adopts our design.
Enterprise Standard "Leader": Guiding Vehicle and Component Enterprises to Optimize and Upgrade Products
Gas production analysis: The thermal runaway gas production of power batteries is a unique evaluation capability we have developed based on UL9540A. Currently, we have completed the capacity construction at the cell level and 3MW module level, and are currently conducting laboratory construction at the 10MW system level and installation level, which can quantitatively evaluate the gas composition during the thermal runaway process of power batteries and the diffusion phenomenon of battery thermal runaway. At the individual level, the battery experiences thermal runaway in an 82L constant volume combustion bomb. The collected gas components are quantitatively analyzed through Agilent 8890GC, which can further study and analyze the combustion and explosion characteristics of the thermal runaway gas components in explosion limit testers and combustion rate testers.
Safety evaluation system: Equipped with multi physical fields and multi-level power battery simulation technology, we have built a simulation capability for the entire vehicle thermal runaway combustion chain. We have conducted testing and evaluation system construction and safety standards around "failure mechanism research of power batteries", "safety research of thermal runaway", and "evaluation of retired batteries".MORE>>

The full life cycle of batteries

The full lifecycle value chain of power batteries refers to "power battery recycling - nickel cobalt lithium battery raw material recycling - battery material recycling - power battery recycling". Taking power batteries as an example, when the existing capacity of power lithium batteries only accounts for 80% of the original capacity, the electrochemical performance of power lithium batteries will be difficult to meet the normal power needs of electric vehicles, and can be recycled and processed. The recycled and processed waste power lithium batteries and their materials can ultimately be reused in the field of lithium batteries or powder metallurgy. Cascade utilization refers to the retirement and testing of batteries on electric vehicles that have decreased their performance to below 80% of their initial performance, and then the selection and recombination of batteries with better performance for secondary utilization in some relatively mild usage conditions. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) refers to the assessment of the whole life cycle. It is a method to assess the environmental impact of products, services or systems in their whole life cycle, involving the whole process from raw material extraction, production, transportation, use to disposal.

  1. Determine the objective and scope
    Determine the research goal of LCA and define the research scope, including the product system, functional unit and research time span.
    Inventory analysis
    Identify and quantify all inputs and outputs in the product life cycle in detail, including the consumption of raw materials, energy, water and other resources as well as environmental discharge such as waste gas, waste water and solid waste.
    Impact assessment
    Based on the data of inventory analysis, the environmental impacts in the product life cycle, such as the global warming potential, water resource consumption and ozone layer depletion, are assessed and quantified by using appropriate assessment methods and models.

Carbon emission accounting is a process of quantifying the greenhouse gas emissions produced by enterprises, with the main greenhouse gas “carbon dioxide” as the unit of measurement. According to the relevant standards or guidelines, enterprises can calculate the carbon emissions within the enterprise boundary for a certain period, which is helpful for enterprises to know the carbon emissions, set emission reduction targets, carry out emission reduction actions and meet the requirements of carbon disclosure.
